What’s new with IYPF this month? A new website & facebook page! IYPF has been busy developing a new, user-friendly website. Check it out:www.iypf.org. On our website you will find our recent news, ways to get involved the new vision of IYPF in 2011. We have also shifted from a Facebook Group to aFacebook Page, so make sure you ‘like’ us on facebook when you get a chance.
Membership is easier than ever with our new website. Click here for a simple two step process to become a member. Becoming a member of IYPF is one way to demonstrate your commitment to engaging in change as a professional, but also an opportunity to take the next step and become involved in making a difference. As a member you’ll also join a powerful network of young professionals from over 130 countries across the globe!
We need your help! New ways to get involved. Right now, we are looking for volunteers for a number of projects:
- We are looking for volunteers to help us plan and prepare for IYPFs 10th birthday in October. Please email sarahvannsander@iypf.org with expressions of interest.
- IYPF is developing a strategy working group and requires individuals who have valuable insights to share surrounding development projects and non-profits organization. Please email nickbyrne@iypf.org with expressions of interest.
- We also need volunteers to help us prepare for the International Young Professionals Summit in 2012. We are looking to build an IYPS 2012 organising sub-committee which will be responsible for everything from researching and deciding where the summit should be held to the hands on organising closer to the date. Please email sarahvannsander@iypf.orgwith expressions of interest.
