IYPF (Learning & Action) Communities

knowledge and stimulate action on major issues facing our planet.
Read the details

Topical Communities
The IYPF currently has topical communities on the below topics:
- HIV & AIDS

activites. Join the network here.

future generations. Join our YP & MDG community and get informed,

for All is a goal enshrined in many declarations. It also underpins
Millennium Development Goal 2. Education is widely recognised as playing

in these areas and being part of the creation of new projects and ventures
to make a difference in theseareas follow the links provided to get involved.
Also, some non- IYPF topical
networks you might like to join of relevance to young professionals:
- Peak
Oil - The issue of "Peak Oil" is gaining increased coverage
in mainstream media, and has a well-established following outside
the mainstream. With the spectrum of views ranging from business-as-usual
to global die-off, the debate is daunting to say the least. But perhaps
it is most daunting for young people just starting out in the world.
What is Peak Oil going to do to the young professional, who has little
money but big dreams? Are they going to find themselves unable to
live out the life they had come to expect? This group is an online
meeting-place for all young professionals who would like to discuss
issues related to Peak Oil and sustainability, and are interested
in looking to the future. People outside Australia are most welcome
too. A diversity of ideas and opinions is encouraged, in the interests
of helping each other find our way through the information and mis-information
out there. Join the ASPO-Australia Young Professionals Forum:

Regional Communities
Each young professional involved
in the IYPF is encouraged to join the relevant IYPF regional community.
In these online communities, IYPF members (you have to be a member
or associate member to be able to join the list) discuss their work;
seek and share advice, assistance and relevant information; share
opportunities (events, scholarships); identify regional opportunities,
challenges, solutions, projects; and network across countries and
cities.
Regional communities will be great resources for IYPF members.
Through these communities you can connect with other young professionals
in the same region as you, helping each other to be more effective
by exchanging stories and information.
Just click on the link to the right to join the regional communities
you are interested in.
