About IYPF

Working Groups

The IYPF Board of Directors maintains 3 permanent working groups to ensure the IYPF is being run effectively and achieving its vision. It may also form other working groups if it sees the need.

1. Strategy Working Group / Chaired by Greg Nelson

The purpose of the Strategy Working Group for 2007 is to develop a strategic plan for the IYPF for the next 5 years. Once this is developed, the purpose of the WG will be to monitor performance against the plan and make adjustments to it, assess new activity proposals against the strategic plan and the IYPF's vision and mission, and provide advice to the Board on effectively achieving its goals.

2. Fundraising Working Group / Chaired by Casius Chuma

The purpose of the Fundraising Working Group is to strategically assess the IYPF's financial needs and develop plans for raising these funds through donors, events, fundraising activities, donation drives, etc.

3. Compliance Working Group / Chaired by Jodie Nelson

The purpose of the Compliance Working Group is to provide strategic input and contribute to the effective delivery of the IYPF's external and internal reporting and governance obligations, such as Annual Reports, Annual General Meetings, Annual Financial Returns, constitutional changes, tax status reviews, etc.
