  • Join young professionals from over 100 countries across the globe!
  • IYPF is a strong supporter of the Millenium Development Goals (MDG's)
The eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) form a blueprint agreed to by all the world’s countries and all the world’s leading development institutions. Set for the year 2015, the MDGs are an agreed set of goals that can be achieved if all actors work together and do their part. Poor countries have pledged to govern better, and invest in their people through health care and education. Rich countries have pledged to support them, through aid, debt relief, and fairer trade.

Responding to the world's main development challenges and to the calls of civil society, the MDGs promote poverty reduction, education, maternal health, gender equality, and aim at combating child mortality, AIDS and other diseases.

If you're looking for a way to become more involved in IYPF, becoming a member is a great way to get started. Being a paid member of IYPF also offers some great services to help you be effective sustainability practitioners and social change agents.

IYPF membership consists of paid members, associate members (free), and its extended network (those who are on various e-mail lists, have had some contact with the organisation etc. but who have not submitted a membership form for associate or paid membership).

IYPF's paid members form the core of the organisation. Their membership fees help cover the costs of IYPF's work. All staff and directors are paid members. They vote at the AGM and have input on the activities and direction of the organisation. All current 'ordinary' members have paid a once-off joining fee - while these fees were designed to be annual, during the start-up and establishment period this has not been implemented.

To become an IYPF paid member, download and return the form below and organise to make your payment. Your payment options are outlined below also.

Becoming an associate member is very easy - you just need to complete the membership application form below and return it - no payment is required. By doing so you officially become part of the IYPF network.
