What is it?
The IYPF recognises that some young professionals across the world may
have difficulty in covering the membership fee required to become an ordinary
member of the organisation.
To assist in overcoming this barrier, the IYPF has formed the IYPF Memberships
Donations Trust Fund, in order to subsidise potential members who otherwise
would be prevented from joining.
It is not the intention of the IYPF to fully waive the membership fee
for anyone - not only does the legal structure of the company require
some financial contribution from each of our Ordinary Members, but we
believe that having to make a financial contribution to the organisation
increases your commitment to being fully engaged.
Those who find it difficult to contribute the full AUS $55 can apply to
have part of this fee subsidised by the Trust as part of their membership
application (see the Membership Application information online here).
The Trust
Fund will contain monies donated to the IYPF specifically for the intention
of subsidising potential memberships. All members, the public, and
organisations, can make donations, regardless of the amount they wish
to contribute. Generally, the monies will form a general pool for
subsidies, but at the request of the donor, they may also be used specifically
to offset membership fees for a particular person, or someone who fulfils
certain criteria.
The IYPF reports on the operations of its Trust Fund annually through
it Annual Report. The fund is also audited annually.
How do I contribute?
To contribute to
the Memberships Donations Trust Fund, contact the IYPF via iypf@iypf.org
and we will give you options, including donating online through paypal
using your credit card. If you do donate through paypal, please send an e-mail with details of your
payment to the Foundation via iypf@iypf.org so that we can thank you, make
sure your contribution is acknowledged, determine any specific requests
you have for the use of your donation, and offer you options for staying
in touch with what the IYPF does. |
