Like all non-profits, IYPF relies on the commitment and dedication of volunteers to ensure our organisation achieves our goals and mission. We are currently looking for volunteers for a number of projects. The main areas we need volunteers are below: 

1. We are seeking volunteer Regional Facilitators (added 3rd October 2011) for the 6 IYPF regions: Oceania, Asia, Africa, Europe & The Middle East, North America, Latin America & The Caribbean. As a Regional Facilitator, you will facilitate the regional Facebook group and play a broader role in stimulating YP activities towards the MDGs. The appointment will be for 6 months - with the opportunity for extension should both parties agree. The IYPF will appoint up to 3 facilitators per region.
   
   You will need to be able to commit 3-5 hours per week to:
   - moderate the regional Facebook group
   - post content and facilitate discussion on the Facebook group
   - attend IYPF meetings as requested
   - other tasks as they arise
   
   If you are interested in becoming a regional facilitator, please send your expression of interest via email, including a short statement on why you want the role, and what you bring to the position. Include any relevant previous experience. We will make appointments on a rolling basis until the positions are full. If all positions are full, we will keep you in mind for the role in the future.

2. We also need volunteers to help us prepare for the International Young Professionals Summit in 2012. We are looking to build an IYPS 2012 organising sub-committee which will be responsible for everything from researching and deciding where the summit should be held to the hands on organising closer to the date. 3. Help Young Professionals Create World-Changing Projects. IYPF seeks 3-5 young professionals with a passion for supporting the development and implementation of creative and effective solutions to social and environmental problems to join our new Member Projects team. This team will assist IYPF members with ideas for making the world a better place to turn their ideas in to action, and to make their projects and endeavours more successful. If you have experience in starting and running your own projects, business or organisations, are familiar with business and project planning, or have a passion for entrepreneurship, we'd love to hear from you.
